It appears that when you update your ledger X, only the X right now, to the latest firmware version two point L, it seems to break things on The Hedera.

Well, my H bar wallet dot com. So, what we’re gonna do, I’m gonna give you an example. We’re gonna say access, we’re gonna do hardware, we’re gonna say ledger.

Get that H Bar in, they’re there, they’re waiting for command on my Ledger X I’m going to say Continue.

It’s gonna prompt me, I’m gonna go back in and say Export Public Key Approve. Chose the public key, I’m going to put my account.

And this is where it gets a little weird.

It freezes freezes my Ledger X, Fred froze Jeddah, reds Ledger X.

And it powers it down if you wait a little bit like, I came back after waiting for this spin spin spin I came back and I had to unplug my ledger X so that is the experience on the ledger X But what I’m going to do is show you what the experience is for the S.

You have the possibility of getting an S and restoring your coins, not that you’d really want to do this but, know, until they fix this, it’s kind of a similar issue with theta, breaking treasurer. H Bar is kind of broken on the ledger X but not the S I have not tested it on treasurer.

If someone wants to, I don’t even know if treasurer will support it because yeah, it just has the nano ledger for the hardware.

If you only have a Ledger X, is this an argument to wait for the fix before updating to firmware 2.0?
Yes, you are correct. I wouldn’t update mine until they resolve this issue. Or send it off to a place that you might liquidate it for safe keeping.
I bought some HBAR a couple weeks ago and tried to create an account on myHbarWallet to move it to my Nano X, but I wasn’t even able to create the account. I figured I was doing something wrong or there was just some glitch at the time, but this explains it. Thanks George and Jettared!
Anybody else having similar issues but on Metamask? Whenever sending a transaction, the prompt that is supposed to show up on my Ledger X doesn’t appear. I have display transaction data turned on. I guess this is part of the bug from the firmware update.
